Lutheran Services Carolinas (LSC) helps a wide variety of groups within North Carolina communities to create a better life for themselves.
Whether it is working with veterans transitioning from homelessness to dignity or protecting children at risk of abuse and neglect with foster care or improving the lives of those battling severe and persistent mental illness through innovative programs, LSC offers a range of services for life’s most challenging and overwhelming moments. Services include individual, marital, and family counseling by a state-certified therapist; working with human service providers and governmental agencies to provide community support service programs that help people become self-sufficient; or, refugee resettlement programs to help them transition into a new life and a new culture.
LSC also provides a comprehensive array of residential options and support services to North Carolina seniors including vibrant retirement communities, quality rehabilitation and skilled care nursing services, assisted living residences, at-home care, adult day services, geriatric care management, and caregiver support.
If you are interested in helping with any of these programs, LSC has a comprehensive list of Ways to Give on their website. The site also provides wish lists for both donated items and in-kind giving.
