The Jones Dairy Elementary PTA will hold a local Candidate Forum on Thursday, October 18th, 2018. The event will be held in the Jones Dairy Elementary Gymnasium, beginning at 6:30pm and ending at 8:15pm. Doors will open at 6:00pm.
The purpose of the Candidate Forum is to give the Wake Forest community voters an opportunity to hear candidates discuss the issues of importance to them in this election. The event is free and open to the public.
District 1 – Wake County Board of Education

– Jim Thompson
District 35 – NC House of Representatives
– Chris Malone (R)
– Michael Nelson (L)
District 18 – NC Senate
– John Alexander (R)
– Mack Paul (D)
Two candidates are unable to attend (Terence Everitt (D) – District 35 and Brad Hessel (L) – District 18). They will submit a statement that will be read during the forum.
The candidates will answer questions from the moderators as well as the public. If you’d like to submit a question for the moderator to read to the candidates, please do so on www.jdepta.com. You may submit anonymously.
