Raleigh | Poor People’s Campaign, Week 5: Everybody’s Got The Right To Live

Theme: Everybody’s Got the Right to Live: Education, Living Wage, Jobs, Income, Housing

North Carolina is one of over 30 states across the country and in Washington, DC heading to their state capitals on June 11th to force a serious national examination of the enmeshed evils of systemic racism, systemic poverty, ecological devastation and the war economy.

This is the fifth of six weeks of nonviolent moral fusion direct action across the country to show our elected leaders we will no longer allow attention violence to keep poor and disenfranchised people down.

Join us in Raleigh, NC at 2:00 p.m. for a Poor Peoples Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival rally and demonstration. The fifth week’s theme is “Everybody’s Got the Right to Live: Education, Living Wage, Jobs, Income, Housing.”

If you are interested in engaging in nonviolent direct action as part of the demonstration, you must attend a pre-event training, which will be held at 11am at Pullen Memorial Baptist Church located at 1801 Hillsborough St. Raleigh NC
