The Wake County Commission for Women will be conducting a series of 7 public listening sessions around the county inviting women in Wake County’s diverse regions and communities to talk to us about the challenges they encounter in their everyday lives. The Voices of Wake County Women Listening Tour is a coordinated to serve all 7 districts of Wake and partnerships with other Women’s organizations throughout the county and community . Wake County women were also invited to “talk to us” through our online survey available later this month in four languages.
In honor of Women’s History Month, the project will launch March 28, 2019 and the final public listening session will be held in November 2019. A report with the findings and recommendations will be released in January 2020 at a Roundtable conference.
