The goals are:
1) to acknowledge the hard work of local and national groups which held rallies, called Senators, and supported local people who were among hundreds arrested in Washington DC in the past few weeks,
2) Remind people that the fight is not over, pointing out that the GOP has engaged in a campaign to sabotage the ACA for the last seven years and President Trump is threatening a continued assault,
3) Continue to ask Senator Tillis for a town hall and protest his statements and his votes on the health care bills, and
4) Focus on House members who are up for re-election in 2018 who have actually passed a bill to rip healthcare from 23 million people and to give $800 million dollars to the wealthiest Americans funded by cuts in Medicaid.
Similar rallies will take place throughout North Carolina in High Point, Charlotte, and elsewhere co-sponsored by local Indivisible and other groups as well as Progress North Carolina Action.
