Raleigh | Poor People’s Campaign Rally – On Militarism and Gun Violence

NC is one of over 30 states across the country and in Washington, DC heading to their state capitals starting May 14th and each week for 6 weeks to force a serious national examination of the enmeshed evils of systemic racism, systemic poverty, ecological devastation and the war economy.

This is the third of six weeks of nonviolent moral fusion direct action across the country to show our elected leaders we will no longer allow attention violence to keep poor and disenfranchised people down.

This Week’s Theme:  Militarism and the Proliferation of Gun Violence

Join us in Raleigh, NC at 2:00 p.m. along with the Rev. Dr. William Barber II for a Poor Peoples Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival rally and demonstration.

If you are interested in engaging in nonviolent direct action as part of the demonstration, you must attend a pre-training. Click here to register:
