Raleigh | 2019 Indivisible Call to Action

Are you an Indivisible Leader? Do you want to be? Come join Indivisible Leaders from all over America as we converge for the HKonJ Moral Monday March. A full day of leadership, innovation and strategy.

As North Carolina prepares for record turnout for Moral Monday, this is the Indivisible 2019 Call To Action symposium where together, WE will lay out Resistance strategy for 2020. Engage with Indivisible Leaders from all over America as we lay out what has worked and what we are working on. We will Build The Roadmap for 2020. Reserving your seat is simple. $50 covers a T-shirt, 9-5 Build the Road Map, all day free wifi access and free Saturday morning Breakfast and Speaker Panel before the March. Every penny left over after event costs (Meeting Room/AV/Breakfast Hotel Fee) will be divided and given to the top 3 Indivis Groups voted by the attendees. No proceeds to organizer.

Breakfast Panel 2/9 will be carried Facebook and Twitter live. Scholarships available. BE The Resistance. I AM The Resistance. Special Guests TBA. Hotel rooms at Marriott, you can bunk up to 2-6 people per room and just pay 1/2 of a room.

Schedule:

9:00 am Welcome and Introductions. You will receive all attendee/speaker contact information, calendars of grass roots events, building blocks for the Indivisible Team. We are the Resistance and we are not going away.

9:30 am State of Grass Roots Technology, Volunteer Phishing (and why it is counter productive), Building Inter Group Networks, pros and cons of Mobilize America, NGP, VoteBuilder and NationBuilder, and why we need to prioritize that the Party disclose Candidate information faster. To make policy change, we need seats at the table. Best Practices for Resisting 45 (or his successor after impeachment).

10:30 am – 10:45 break

10:45 am – noon Purged Voters, Post Cards, Online and Offline Activism. Synergize with groups already in existence, learn best practices for electoral vs non electoral campaigning. Pros and Cons of Party Structure and Indivisible Movement. How to capitalize on existing volunteer structures. (See Jane Go. Be Like Jane).

Noon – 1 pm lunch on your own. Bring a brown bag, network in the room with new friends. Take Pictures, have a tweet storm. Make #Blue News. Create one brand new Resistance Event for your Group on the spot.

1:00 pm Special Guest Speakers, NC NAACP, Womens March, Bold Progressives, Equal, Resistance Leaders Near and Far…. Zoom and Live. Topic: Holding newly elected leaders accountable. Indivisible 2.0 on the Offence. Swing Left, Candidate Pipelines. Connecting the dots.

2:00 pm North Carolina Indivisible Leaders speak about the past two years, and the next two years.

3:30 pm break T shirts handed out

3:45-5:00 pm, Work Session. What is your success goal? Electing Candidates? Changing Law? How many doors knocked, phone calls made, laws changed, it is time for Indivisible to Make the News, not Watch the News. Create the Indivisible Daily Talking Points. Walk out the Door with 2019 Road Map in Hand.
