Fuquay Varina | NC 2 Empty Chair Town Hall w/out George Holding

03/28/2018 @ 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

You know we can’t go to long without organizing a town hall. So we are getting the band back together and organizing one for Sleepy George Holding at the Fuquay-Varina Needmore Ruritan Club in Southwest Wake County.

As always we have invited Ole G. Holding and given his scheduler the date and time. Congress will be on break that week so unless he’s still taking a long winter’s nap we hope he will show. Regardless of his potential appearance we will have the candidates challenging him (to wake up) from the Democratic Party and possibly another from the Republican Party. There will be an opportunity for candidates to tell you about their platforms then a Q&A portion of the program.

We hope to have voter registration folks there as well as other activist groups and as always media presence. This event is being sponsored by Indivisible Triangle Daily Call to Action as an ongoing effort to engage elected officials to meet with their constituents and discuss issues important to us all. Thus far, each of our events have been Empty Chair Town Halls despite efforts to plan these when Congress is out of session and invites being extended to staffers. There’s always a chance though!

We now have confirmed all of the candidates for House NC 02 attending:
Ken Romley
Wendy May
Linda Coleman

Plus NCGA candidates will have tables and be there to answer questions:

Sydney Batch
Matt Calabria
Jen Geurin Ferrell
Sam Searcy
