TSURJ is excited to be part of a group of pastoral and community leaders and activists who are hosting Ruby Sales in the Durham area on Thursday, February 1 and Sunday, February 4. Ruby Sales is an activist and theologian who offers opportunities to engage in collective reflection on our response to, in her words, the social pathology and spiritual malformation of whiteness historically and in our current situation.
- On February 1, she will be engaging in a lunchtime conversation with community leaders and activists at noon in Durham (you must sign up for this at the website) and a 7 p.m. community conversation at NCCU
- On February 4, she will be offering part of the sermon at 10 am at New Creation United Methodist Church in Durham and a community conversation at 3 p.m. in Saxapahaw. RSVP here
Do not miss this opportunity to hear an incredibly powerful and purposeful message for these times!
