Panel on Wake County Municipal Elections

If you are interested in understanding more about the municipal elections, networking, and discussing, please come to our event!

Speakers:
–TJ Cawley, running for mayor of Morrisville: Will discuss role of mayor and town/city council members.
–Rob Schofield, NC Policy Watch: Will discuss current events in local politics.
–Shelia Alamin-Khashoggi, running for city council, at-large: Will discuss candidacy and issues representing Southeast Raleigh.
–Ken Presting, running for Cary town council, District C: Will discuss his reasons for running and best practices for getting out the vote.

Each panel member will speak for about ten minutes and then we will have a question and answer period. Literature regarding the municipal elections will also be provided.

Rebus Works sells beer and a food truck will be parked out front!
Standing room with some chairs. Please bring a chair if you know you want to sit!
